The internet is a great place to both research and find rare and alternative investment opportunities. An alternative investment is one that is off the beaten path. It usually has a niche idea, or narrow timeframe combined with some insider knowledge. Some of these rarities are rather high risk investments, but they also are the ones that pay off the biggest. They are the classic, buy low, sell high scenario.
